mama mia - great fun but made me feel old!!!!

easy listening, light classics, most types except heavy jazz, folk,

depends but by choice would like to be doing something - off-road driving, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, driving/ touring in the country, seaside, mountains, going to some event such as country fair, music festival, etc.

I like to be doing things rather than, say, lying on a beach. past holidays have been horsedrawn caravans, narrow boat on canals, horseridng/trekking - gammy left knee would probably have a problem coping with the last one!!!! (the result of a skiiing incident in my thirties). Would love to go on a safari - abroad and also a cruise. I like painting and sketching and will do more now I have retired, love travelling abroad and generally prepared to try most things. I am also happy to stay at home - with the right person! I am very close to my two daughters, their partners and new grandson. I have always worked and am a nurse by profession, was the director of a national charity for 15 years and owned and ran my own hotel/restaurant, pub for the last eight years. now ready to live the fruits of my labours - er, so to speak.
