1. How do I get my picture onto the site?

Click on the SIGN UP ! link, and follow the onscreen instructions to create an account. Once you have done this, click on the MY PHOTO link. You can upload a picture directly from your computer, or from a website address (URL).

NOTE: Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to upload your picture for you.

2. The system won't take my picture! How do I get it to work?

First, make sure that your picture is under 400k and in JPEG (JPG) format.

If you are submitting an URL, make sure it does not end in ".htm" or ".html". If your submission ends in one of those two, you are submitting the web address of the page that contains the picture, and not the picture itself. The URL of the picture must end in 'jpg' (renaming a GIF file as a JPEG will NOT work)!

In this case, to get the URL of the picture, go to the web page that contains your picture, right click on it, and select 'properties'. The URL of the picture will be listed in the box that pops up.

3. When I try to submit a picture, I get a "Page not found" or "Server not found" error. What's wrong?

This probably means that your picture is taking too long to upload. Your file might be too big and you are on a slow connection, or if you're submitting an URL, the server your picture is hosted on is slow. You should make your file smaller or find another place to host your picture.
4. Why was my picture rejected?

We reserve the right to refuse any picture which others may find offensive, that includes (but is not limited to) pornographic, racist pictures, or just pictures that bear no relation to the person uploading their picture. If your picture is rejected, you should receive an E-mail saying why the picture was rejected.

If you don't know why your profile was rejected and would like to ask why HERE.  If you're convinced your picture should have made it through, you can try resubmitting it.

5. Why can't I put my email address or website URL on my picture?

Communication between users should be via the main site, which allows instant messaging and E-mail correspondence.

6. My friend put his/her picture on the site. Is there any way I can find it without looking through pictures randomly?

Find out what Username they gave themselves, then enter this into the FIND USER box on the homepage.

7. You should know that this picture I found is inappropriate (celebrity, porn, etc.)

Click "back" to go back to the offending picture. Look a few lines under the picture, and click the link that addresses this situation.

8. Can I take my picture off the system?

If you simply don't want your pictures rated, but would still like to use the site, chat to users etc, then go to the "My Info" -> "Main Settings" section. There will be an option there to take yourself out of rating.

If you would like to remove a picture from your profile, go to the "My Info" area, and click on "My Photos". From there you can delete any of your pictures from the site.

If you would like to delete your entire profile, click on the HELP link (top right) and follow the onscreen instructions for membership cancellation.

9. How do I change the email address associated with my account?

Log in and go to "My Info" -> "Main Settings". You can change it there.

10. Can I only look at people in my country ?

Yes, in the "Who is online" and "Match" section you can do this, but not in the rating section (Home page).
