Managed to find a real holiday bargain today.
4 star all-inclusive 7 nights in Barcelona from East Mids for only £330
That gives me 10 weeks to build up an even tan on the sunbed and get back into shape for the beach.

Going with a female friend at the end of Sept, it'll be my first holiday in almost 3 years (2 nights in Skegness...in a caravan....in the snow don't actually count do they?) so really looking forward to it.
Sun, sea, sand, sangria, sight-seeing, shopping, salsa and sunsets.....yessssssssss!!!!!!

I really enjoyed the fancy dress party on Saturday, and was out dancing till 2am Sunday and Monday, but having a quiet night in tonight to recharge for Wednesday. The latter half of this week will be a lot quieter, so I'll maybe watch one of the 40 DVDs I've not yet looked at.

This new group of friends I've made has given me a new lease of life......there's even talk of a girls holiday abroad..... Crikey, I hadn't realised I had so much unspent energy.....I feel like a recycled teenager and lost a few pounds as a bonus........
But I think I might need to devote a little more time to pampering my aching feet....maybe soak them whilst I'm typing my Diary entries. Anyone good at foot massage?..............

Had a quiet day today recovering from 6 successive nights out disco dancing. It made a change to relax in front of the TV, give myself a pedicure and recharge for the weekend. My social life has certainly picked up recently with the addition of a few new friends, and I'm looking forward to a fancy dress party on Saturday night where the theme is St Trinians...always good for a giggle.

Feeling lost and lonely this morning. Argos engineers arrived at 8.30am to take away my new TV. It could be in the workshop 7 - 10 days.
I don't watch much TV, about 16 hours a week, but strangely I can now think of all the programmes I like to watch.
