Seems like the year has really started off as it means to go on lol
It never ceases to amaze me how nasty people can be and just how low they are prepared to hit and, with what .
I think im supposed to be upset and bothered . HOWEVER
I have more important things to worry about and do, like when am i going out again and what am i to wear lol .
If that sounds fickel so be it . I really am not going to let anyones spite get to me that easily.
Hoping my daugher soon gets a job thats where my thoughts are at the moment not sad comments and remarks . All i can say is ... try harder lol
Its my weekend to work and its very busy but i work with some wonderful people

Well today has been ok . Glad Christmas and New Year has come to an end . So to start picking myself up and starting again I took my daughter shopping . Thats not an easy thing to do . She cant get clothes to fit as size 8 is too big. No shes not dieting thats how she is.
But the highlight of the day has been speaking to Laurence who is home from Afganistan for 2 weeks. He was my sons friend whist at school. My son is no longer with us but Laurence still is in touch and lived with us for a few months before he decided to go into the forces. As you can imagin its awful to know where hes stationed at times . However Ill be seeing him at the weekend and my daughter and I will put on brave faces . He doesnt need us getting emotional around him.
Life is not always easy and throws some nasties at us from time to time . Theres nothing we can do about that but the way we handle them is down to us.
So when we see Laurence well be as normal as poss and pray he comes home safe and sound soon

Tonight ill be working at the local hosp. For the last few weeks its been busy anyway and im sure tonight wont be any different.
The girls want to bring food music and games in so if we have time we'll try to do something . So I'd better put the oven on and start the food. I'm hoping i don't burn anything like I normally do. tuff eh?
Anyway hope everyone else will be doing what they want and remember the good that happened in 2008 there must have been some. xxxxxxx
